Here you can read some testimonials from parents and children who have been to Forest School at Kidz Kabin and see some of the activities we've done. We'll let them tell you about it in their own words!

"My daughter LOVES Forest School! She really appreciates the opportunity to be in nature and mixed-age groups where she can learn from the older kids - and especially the crafts and fabulous music sessions and sing-songs! The opportunity to spend days in nature, physically active, and without screens, is so rare - particularly in the city. Thank you, Kidz Kabin for offering kids such a wholesome experience."

Forest School is a fun time!
Linda has lots of fun things to do. I like whittling, carving, making dens out of logs, making mini swings out of sticks and much more. I would recommend it if your child loves the outdoors. I enjoyed it deeply and am super excited for next year!

"I love this camp so much; among all the camps I have done, this is probably one of my favorites.
We always have so much fun. I feel like I can express my creativity when we are doing fun activities such as making anything using the natural objects around us, such as sticks or leaves. I learned so many new skills, such as whittling, carving, drilling, and so much more. I love being outdoors so much and feel simple happiness just being there in the woods.
Linda and her crew are always so kind, helpful, and full of new ideas. I think I have been more than 6 times there and never got enough of it!
I would highly recommend this camp to anyone.”

"I’ve been going to forest school for five years now and always have a great time! I’m always surprised at the new things to make every year, ranging from art with colourful berry paint, sculpting wooden puppets, making fun musical instruments and loads more. Me and my brother look forward to it every summer holiday and can’t wait to begin our adventures. We even get to go blackberry picking!"

Forest School was really great for my daughter who was one of the youngest there. I loved that she played with such a mixed age group of children who were all older than her but had clearly embraced all the kids there. The culture is lovely, the staff are fantastic and my daughter came home talking about all the imagination games she played and songs she had sung, as well as with new skills like whittling and berry picking, making forest art, pens and photo frames. She had a fantastic time and she'll be going back next time!
